Dog Boarding
Do you have kennels or will my dog stay in your home?
Your pet will be cared for in our own home, we do not send your pet to someone elses home who you will never meet (agencies). We do not use any cages or kennels. We invite you to come and meet us for a walk first and ask any questions that you feel you need answered at the time. We want you to be totally happy with us, so you can go away and enjoy your break.
Why should I choose dog boarding/sitting?
Dog boarding/sitting is best for calm loving caring dogs. The whole idea is that they stay in a home, and are looked after just as they would be at home. We ask that you give us some instructions so that we can keep them in their routine. This not only helps them, but us too. Your dog will come back happy and relaxed, not quiet and sad.
What should I bring with me for my dog being boarded?
|
Collar and leash Enough food for the duration Treats that you would normally give them A towel (optional) Toys that your dog is familiar with |
All of the above should be considered for when your dog comes to stay. If you would like to ask about anything that you feel you should bring, please free to e mail/call
Should I bring my dog along to meet you and your dog Alfie?
We recomend that you come and meet us and Alfie. The reasons for this are for the safety of your dog and other dogs that will stay at the same time. We need to ensure the dogs that stay with us will not present a problem at any point during the stay. We look for things like initial greeting, general behaviour whilst around Alfie
If all is agreeable, we will ask you to pay for deposit ASAP to ensure you secure your time period with us.
Peak times, and when will they affect me?
Peak times are days such as public holidays. For all public holidays, we charge double for the day. Adoredogs are generally extremely busy during March April, May. June, July, August, September and late December. If you are booking for these times, we highly recommend you do this as quickly as possible to avoid disappointment
When should I pay for your boarding service?
When you come for your walk or place your booking, we ask that you come with a view to placing your order either then. A 50% deposit is necessary to secure your booking and this is non-refundable. The balance should be paid on the first day of your dogs stay with us.
Will you collect and return my dog?
We are totally flexible, and will find a solution for you. Normally, we would prefer that you drop off and collect your dog(s).
What happens if my dog becomes ill or injured?
